Job summary

You'll work 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with opportunities for continuing education, training, and career growth within Texas’ largest not-for-profit health system known for advanced cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating room nursing with cardiac specialty.
• Ability to coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams in high-acuity settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered care within cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cardiac surgery patients in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgical team to prepare for procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Monitor patient status, documents care, and communicates changes to team.
• Assist with equipment setup and room readiness for complex cases.
