Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OR. This full-time daytime role includes a 3-12 shift and call requirements within a designated Level 1 Trauma Center.

Our OR is fast-paced with high acuity patients, and leadership fosters learning, mentoring, and career growth. Experience in thoracic surgery is highly preferred, with opportunities to scrub and build clinical and non-clinical skills across a nationally

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1+ years of OR experience required.
• Thoracic OR experience highly preferred.
• BLS certification required (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR.
• Assist with scrubbing and surgical setup.
• Support thoracic and other complex procedures.
• Participate in safety and quality initiatives within the OR.
