Qualifications

• Two years’ recent operating room experience as a Surgical Tech.
• One year experience first scrubbing for cardio-thoracic/CABG.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Graduated from an accredited Operating Room Technician Program.
• National Surgical Technician certification, required.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance of instruments and supplies by proper cleaning, care, utilization and sterilization as required.
