Job summary

Lee Health’s Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers seeks an experienced RN for the Cardiac Observation Unit. You will assist with pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac catheterizations, stents, pacemakers, and ablations, following the nursing process and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation while coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• BLS certification required or per department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document nursing care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Deliver safe patient care during cardiac procedures and recovery in the Cardiac Observation Unit.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act; maintain high professional and ethical conduct.
