Job summary

UF Health Shands Homecare seeks a Nursing Assistant/US Techretary to support patients and the cardiac team. You will assist with basic nursing procedures, comfort measures and maintain a safe, organized care environment on the CFH Cardiac Medical Routine unit.

The role offers days shift, full-time status (36 hours/week) and collaboration with RNs under supervision. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this busy setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Florida CNA license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic physical care and nursing procedures under RN direction.
• Assist with patient comfort measures and safety.
• Support unit organization, communication and teamwork in a busy cardiac unit.
