Job summary

UF Health Central Florida's CFH Cardiac Medical Unit is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients during hospital stays. Under RN supervision, you will assist with basic physical care and nursing procedures, supporting comfort and safety throughout the unit.

This full-time role (36 hours/week) features day shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) on a dedicated cardiac unit, with emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-high school specialized training preferred.
• Florida CNA license preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures.
• Assist with patient comfort measures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.
