Banner - University Medical Group (BUMG) in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, day shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) to perform Nuclear Stress and DSPECT imaging, and IV placement. Preference for candidates with cardiology clinic experience.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
Certification by ARRT Nuclear Medicine and/or NMTCB and state licensure if applicable; BLS required.
Typically 2 years of clinical experience with effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Performs nuclear medicine procedures per orders and department policies.
Educates patients and families about procedures to be performed.
Produces high-quality images and documents findings for interpretation.
Maintains competence in prescribed procedures and radiopharmaceutical administration.
Performs quality control and ensures ALARA safety in the work environment.
Maintains patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Ensures smooth department workflow and adequate supply inventories.
