Job summary

SB Administrative Services, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to work in an outpatient setting within Stony Brook Medical Associates - Infectious Disease in New York. Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate from an approved NP/PA program.
• Unrestricted license in the State of New York as an NP or PA.
• Current DEA registration and ACLS/BLS Certification.
• Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will perform other duties as assigned by supervising physicians.
• The Nurse Practitioner will assist in answering messages.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Perform comprehensive inpatient/outpatient visits with comprehensive health history and physical assessments.
• Establish medical diagnoses and write orders within scope of practice.
• Perform stress testing and advise staff on patient care issues.
• Manage on-call coverage weekdays and weekends, and collaborate with physicians.
• Maintain clinical documentation and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
