Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care using the nursing process. You will direct patient care, educate patients and families, and guide other nursing staff while maintaining high standards of care.

You will communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition and test results, respond quickly to deterioration, and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and guides patient/family education.
• Directs and guides activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition and test results.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
