Qualifications

• Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training or completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia training course upon hire.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• HIPAA compliance and privacy practices adherence.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients on monitors between rooms and testing sites.
• Analyzes and interprets ECG rhythms during transport.
• Maintains a clean operating room environment and assists OR staff.
• Transports specimens to the appropriate laboratory.
• Maintains transportation equipment in good working order.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
