Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for all new hires.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required upon hire and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors in the telemetry department.
• Transcribes physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR documentation.
• Prepares and maintains patient records and charts; ensures lab and radiology orders are completed.
• Assists nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed within CNA scope and supervision.
