Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta seeks a Monitor Technician to continuously surveil patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry, and to notify RNs and clinicians of rhythm changes.

The role requires 1 year of Monitor Technician experience, completion of a basic arrhythmia course, and current AHA Basic Life Support; color vision and CRAT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as Monitor Technician.
• Basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Qualifications

++REQUIRED++

• One (1) year of experience as a Monitor Technician
• Successful completion of a basic arrhythmia course or equivalent coursework.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
• ++PREFERRED++
• CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician) Certification through CCI.

0700-1930
