Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Monitor Technician to provide continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and remote telemetry, ensuring immediate notification to RNs and clinicians of any rhythm changes.

The role supports patient safety during a 7:00 am–7:30 pm shift with rotating weekend requirements; prior healthcare experience and BLS certification are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma, GED or post-secondary education.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology.
• Previous health care experience.

Responsibilities

The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms.

Qualifications

++REQUIRED++

• High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
• ++PREFERRED++
• Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology.
• Previous health care experience.

Work Hours:

7am-730pm

Weekend Requirements:

Yes- Rotating Basis
