As our Cardiac Monitor Tech II, you will be a vital part of CommonSpirit Health's Virtual Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, delivering essential virtual cardiac monitoring services to higher level acuity patients across the United States. This complex Level II Cardiopulmonary Technician position focuses on higher acuity patient care, performing remote surveillance for multiple locations, specific to cardio-pulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station.
Every day you willutilize highly advanced IT technology to continuously monitor up to 64 patients, expertly recognizing and recording potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias. You will accurately follow command center policy to promptly notify local RN staff of any critical changes, adhering to established standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You'll also serve as a mentor and preceptor for Level I Cardiopulmonary Techs.
To be successful in this role, you will:demonstrate a strong ability to accurately recognize cardiac rhythms and follow established protocols in notifying local RN staff. Your commitment to proper communication channels in routine and emergency situations, along with striving to improve patient outcomes and department metrics, is crucial. Your experience in a centralized monitoring unit will be a significant asset.
