Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for our Cardiac Medical unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on nursing support on a fast-paced med/surg environment, requiring compassion, teamwork, and clinical knowledge application.

Ideal candidates have a CNA/PCT credential or 1 year PCA/Nursing Assistant experience (or 6 months plus certification), with BLS due within 30 days of hire. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above. Certification is not required for those with greater than one year experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support on the Cardiac Medical unit.
