American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology unit, requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR experience.

The role involves 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with weekend work, annual responsibilities including equipment setup, access-site prep, and room circulation. Epic EMR is used; candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates per policy.

Competenze

Minimum 2 years experience in Cath Lab, IR, or Hybrid OR.
First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years experience
Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification.
Epic charting experience required.
License required if applicable.

Mansioni

Interventional Radiology unit at a teaching hospital.
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; weekends.
Float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit policy.
Uses Epic EMR; equipment setup and access-site prep.
Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; serve as room circulator.

Requirements

First-time travelers accepted with 3+ years of experience
ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
License required if applicable
Epic charting experience required
Experience with equipment setup, access site prep, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Familiarity with fluoroscopy, MRI, and ultrasound equipment
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions

Responsibilities

Interventional Radiology unit setting
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Weekend shifts required
May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit policy
Epic EMR experience required
Act as room circulator and support procedural responsibilities within the IR suite
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
No RTO restrictions beyond standard upfront scheduling of no more than 2 weeks
Returning staff must have a gap of 6+ months since last assignment before returning as a traveler
Refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
