Qualifications

ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) certification is required.
Call is required.
ACLS within 6 months of hire.
BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
Minimum 6 months experience with interventional procedures.
High school diploma or GED or health-science program completion.

Responsibilities

Independently perform interventional and imaging procedures with expert level of care.
Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac/vascular interventions and ensure image quality.
Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Prepare equipment and supplies; troubleshoot equipment and ensure safety and quality control.
Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.
