Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO, is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Imaging Specialist. The role focuses on imaging and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions. The position is onsite with daytime shifts and a two-week pay cycle.

Requirements include high school diploma, RCES/RCIS/ARRT licensure, and BLS; an associate’s degree is preferred. A relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates, with competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred in health-related field.
• RCES/RCIS/ARRT licensure or certification required; BLS and relevant life support certifications.
• BLS by American Heart Association or Red Cross; card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures: review history, drape/position, prep sites, administer contrast within scope.
• Assist physician with diagnostic/interventional procedures incl. cardiac catheterizations; perform echocardiography and fluoroscopy.
• Monitor patient status continuously and respond to changes as needed.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, ensure safety and perform QC; troubleshoot equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and good judgment.
