Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA preferred.
• Completion of Nurse Assistant program or acceptable alternative paths (PCT/PAT or nursing program).
• Foreign trained RN relocating to the US without Michigan RN license accepted.
• Medical Assistant program also acceptable.
• At least one year of NA/PCT/PAT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, performs patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Provides input to assist the RN in planning and implementing patient care.
• Responds to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participates in continuing education.
• Follows Henry Ford Health System Team Member Standards of Excellence.
