Cardiovascular Research Foundation in New York, NY, seeks a Research Associate, Advanced Cardiac Imaging & Physiology Core Laboratories, to perform qualitative and quantitative analyses across IVUS, CT, MR, and physiology modalities.

You will coordinate trial documents, manage data, and support training and development within a busy core lab environment. Requires 0–2 years in medical or academic settings and a biomedical degree.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Biomedical Engineering or Life Sciences
• 0 - 2 years working experience in a medical, academic or pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology and morphology of the heart preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong flexibility, multitasking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication to staff, physicians, nurses, trial sponsors and colleagues with written emails and reports
• Ability to analyze information and solve problems related to intravascular images

Responsabilités

• Acts as a point person for assigned trials
• Set up new trial documentation, Case Report Forms, Technician Worksheets and revise templates
• Familiar with protocols and sub studies; create or revise study materials
• Create initial database/excel tracking
• Acquire images and log work
• Archive, digitize, and quality-control imaging data
• Follow training in IVUS, VH-IVUS, OCT, NIRS, CT, MR, physiology readings
• Analyze assigned trials
• Answer queries and coordinate with sites and sponsor
• Support data entry and project tasks in the core lab
• Assist onboarding and training of new analysts on processes and workflows
• Perform additional research, presentation, and academic duties
• Other duties as assigned
