Qualifications

• Requires doctoral degree (PhD or MD) or foreign equivalent in medicine, biomedical engineering, medical physics, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in cardiovascular imaging research with hands-on quantitative analysis.
• Record of peer‑reviewed publications in cardiovascular imaging or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently designing, executing, and managing clinical and translational cardiovascular imaging studies.
• Performing quantitative image analysis across imaging modalities.
• Developing standardized image acquisition and measurement methods for multicenter studies.
• Training and quality‑assuring analysts and site personnel; maintaining reproducibility standards.
• Serving as core-laboratory for single-center, multicenter, and international studies.
• Building and maintaining imaging research databases and registries.
• Contributing to validation of AI-based image analysis tools with engineering partners.
• Conducting statistical analyses and interpreting study results.
• Preparing manuscripts, abstracts, and grant applications; authorship on publications.
• Coordinating with multicenter investigators and industry partners.
• Providing direction to coordinators, analysts, and trainees.
