Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse, Tertiary Care, for a part-time night shift in Burlington, MA. The unit combines a Cardiac ICU and a Critical Care Unit with exposure to high-acuity patients. A $5,000 sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• At least one year of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse, preferably in an acute or sub-acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient care by coordinating delivery of quality care for assigned patients/families.
• Perform systematic patient and family assessments relevant to the setting.
• Deliver age-appropriate care and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and adhere to unit policies and ethics.
• Educate patients and families about illness and treatment and involve them in the plan of care.
