Job summary

Novant Health's Cardiac ICU at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 7pm-7am full-time shift. The RN leads a care team, collaborates with physicians, and develops an individualized plan of care for cardiac patients.

Minimum requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the state, and BLS certification. One year of acute care nursing experience is preferred. A relocation bonus up to $7,500 is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• If RN license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and not licensed in another state during the last five years, completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating licensure.
• One year of acute nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in appropriate state required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• The RN leads the healthcare team by establishing an authentic relationship with the patient and their support system, collaborating with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate an individualized plan of care.
• The RN uses evidence-based practice and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey and assumes responsibility for care management per policies.
