Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide inpatient/ED care, coordinate patient management and support 24/7 operations. The role emphasizes assessment, delegation, and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires Illinois or Michigan RN licensure and BLS, with a BSN preferred and experience with electronic medical records and basic Microsoft applications.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in Illinois or Michigan.
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the RN licensure and collaborating with providers and care teams.
• Provides care coordination across the continuum, assesses symptoms and offers psychological support to patients and families.
• Mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices and maintains professional disposition at all times.
• Operates in 24/7 hospital inpatient/ED units to support round-the-clock care.
