UNC Health Care’s Rex facility in Raleigh seeks a Clinical Nurse IV Team Lead for the 7 HV Cardiac Medicine Unit. You will provide expert cardiac nursing care, lead the team, coordinate patient flow, and mentor staff on a 24-bed intermediate unit in a Night Shift role.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with physicians and APPs, and advancing nursing practice while ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, with incentives and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experienced cardiac nurse with leadership skills.
• Charge nurse and/or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong cardiac assessment and clinical judgment required.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to support professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Clinical Nurse IV Team Lead on the 7 HV Cardiac Medicine Unit.
• Act as clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
• Coordinate daily unit operations, patient flow and safety as Charge Nurse.
• Precept, mentor, and support staff; promote evidence-based practice.
