Qualifications

• Strong background in cardiology and/or critical care.
• Demonstrated training or experience caring for critically ill cardiovascular patients.
• Proficiency with advanced cardiac critical care therapies (VAD, ECMO).
• Ability to provide procedural care and contribute to education.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for complex cardiovascular patients.
• Manage pre- and postoperative care for cardiac patients.
• Support patients requiring advanced therapies including transplant and VAD care.
• Provide care for patients supported with ECMO.
• Treat and manage cardiogenic shock.
• Perform relevant procedures and support clinical care in the ICU.
• Educate and mentor trainees and advanced practitioners.
