Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is seeking a CNA/Nursing Assistant to join the CVICU nursing team. The role supports clinical staff and provides nursing care under licensed nurse supervision to post‑operative heart surgery patients in a fast-paced unit.

The ideal candidate holds Idaho CNA certification or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program, and current BLS certification; six months CNA experience in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required by Idaho or completion of Trinity Health Nursing Assistant Program.
BLS for Healthcare Providers required at hire (AHA/ARC/Military TMN).
Six months CNA experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Support clinical staff at unit level with clerical, receptionist and patient service coordination.
Perform nursing care services and related non‑professional tasks under licensed nurse supervision.
