Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, is seeking a Clinical Nurse IV Leader to deliver advanced nursing care and to guide teams across clinical areas. This full-time role features three 12-hour shifts per week, with day/night rotations, and a focus on leadership, education, and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
• Two years of experience required.
• Current or compact registered nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide advanced and specialized nursing care in accordance with guidelines.
• Provide local-level leadership in administration, education, informatics, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead development of standards of care and staff education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support quality and patient safety initiatives.
• Mentor and precept staff; contribute to research and innovation to enhance patient care.
