Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a full-time Cardiac/General Anesthesiologist at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. The role offers a 50/50 mix of cardiac and general anesthesia, including LVAD and heart transplant cases, in a quaternary, Level I Trauma Center with extensive operative services.

As part of a major teaching institution, you will contribute to resident, SAA, and SRNA training while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package and stable employment with the region’s largest anesthesia group.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by The American Board of Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the state of practice.
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (completed or currently in progress) is required.
