Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Experience interpreting 12 lead EKGs is essential.
• Familiarity with treadmill stress tests and internal cardiac devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic stress tests.
• Interpret resting, stress, and recovery EKGs.
• Complete stress test documentation in a timely manner.
• Access and interpret pacemaker home monitoring reports.
• Adhere to Physician Care policies.

Skills

Interpreting 12 lead EKGs

Experience with treadmill stress test using Bruce protocol

Understanding of pacemakers and ICDs

Patient communication

Basic understanding of cardiac procedures

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Nursing, or equivalent

Master’s degree preferred
