Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or health-related field.
• Current CPR certification required; ACLS certification required (may obtain within six months).
• Two to three years' progressively more responsible related experience as an Exercise Physiologist.
• Healthcare environment with direct patient contact and safety-focused duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluation and physical assessment of new patients and obtains history.
• Performs vital signs, ECGs, IVs, lab value evaluation and patient education.
• Communicates assessments to attending physicians and participates in care plan development.
• Evaluates hemodynamic and ECG response to exercise and assesses exercise intensity.
• Follows standing orders for cardiac stress testing and participates in ACLS procedures.
• Maintains patient records, updates care plans, and coordinates equipment and daily operations.
