Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida seeks a per diem Cath Lab Tech to assist in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.

The role requires graduation from cardiovascular or radiology program, relevant certifications (CVT or RTR, ACLS, BLS) with RCIS within six months and RCES after two years EP experience; flexible hours, strong teamwork and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Cath lab or EP lab experience is preferred but not required for those with cardiac education background.
• Two years in either Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
• Organized, efficient, team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Operates a variety of angiography equipment and related technology.
• Ensures patient care meets hospital policies and safety guidelines.
• Promotes teamwork with effective communication and flexible duties.
• Fosters a safe patient and staff environment.
