Job summary

Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is seeking a part-time PRN Cardiovascular Angiography Tech to assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. The role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork within the cath lab.

Credentials include CVT or RTR, ACLS and BLS on hire; RCIS must be obtained within 6 months, RCES after 2 years EP experience is preferred. Variable hours and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Two years in Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work varied hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Responsible for patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Adheres to safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in duties.
