Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiovascular or radiology program with cardiac experience.
• Cath lab or EP lab experience preferred but not required with cardiac education background.
• Two years in either Cath or EP is preferred but not required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required upon hire; RCIS within six months; RCES after 2 years EP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Practices safety guidelines for patients, staff and themselves; fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in duties.
