Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England in Hartford, CT, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support electrophysiology procedures. Working under the electrophysiologist and cardiology team, you will deliver safe adult patient care during ablations, pacemakers, EP studies, and related assays.

Candidates must have 3–5 years of nursing experience, Connecticut RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in invasive cardiology procedures, hemodynamic and patient monitoring, patient education, use of radiological imaging equipment, set up of sterile fields.
• Assists and performs technical procedures on patients of all ages particularly adults.
• Assist in assuring all necessary equipment is sterile, functioning, and ready for use during procedures. This includes monitoring devices, catheters, and defibrillators.
• Perform routine checks on electrophysiology equipment.
