Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Cardiac Technologist with expertise in invasive cardiac and EP procedures to support imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and ECG analysis. The role requires handling devices like pacemakers/ICDs and collaborating with the medical team to provide high-quality cardiac care.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, RCES certification within 18 months, and RCIS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent experience is required.
• RCES registration within 18 months of hire is required.
• RCIS registration is preferred.
• ACLS certification is preferred.
• PALS certification is preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and analyze the patient's electrocardiogram (EKG) and intracardiac pressures.
• Assist medical team with sterile procedures.
• Operate X-ray and other lab equipment.
• Collect blood samples and obtain sterile supplies as needed.
• Work with patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Support electrophysiology (EP) procedures and related devices (pacemakers, ICDs, BiV).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EP protocols and cardiac care.

Education

Associate’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology

RCES Certification (within 18 months)

RCIS Certification preferred

ACLS preferred

PALS if applicable
