An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Electrophysiology Technologist to join their team. This role involves preparing and assisting in electrophysiology procedures, ensuring equipment readiness, and maintaining a sterile environment. Bachelors Degree OR;
Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with Radiologic Technologist (RT) Certification OR;
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification. Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification within six (6) months of hire.

The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work and are not all-inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares the EP Lab for procedures, including setting up the sterile procedure table and ensuring all supplies and apparel are available. Assists in cleanup and turnover of the room in preparation for the next procedure. Assists in preparing patients for electrophysiology procedures, including prepping access sites and properly draping patients while maintaining sterility standards. Sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and maintains Electrophysiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning during procedures. Performs skills such as:
Documents procedure charges, supply charges, fluoroscopy time, radiation dose, and contrast dosage accurately. Collaborates with the healthcare team to maintain a sterile environment and follow radiation safety protocols, including the use of lead aprons and shielding. Notifies physicians of elevated radiation doses. Participates in quality assurance initiatives to improve procedure safety and efficiency. Manages supplies and equipment, ensures readiness, and participates in staff training. Prepares to respond to emergencies, including CPR, defibrillation, and artificial respiration.
Ability to work in semi-restricted and restricted environments, stand under surgical lights, lift patients and equipment, and handle hazards such as chemicals, blood, and radiation. Must wear protective gear and perform frequent lifting and positioning tasks.
Willing to participate in late shift rotations. Able to perform effectively in high-pressure environments with attention to detail. Knowledge of EP procedures and equipment operation is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
