Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to provide scrub assistance and support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. You will prepare and operate EP imaging equipment, troubleshoot, document records, and maintain supplies in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment.

The role requires Radiologic Technologist certifications, EP experience, and strong radiation safety practices. After-hours standby and ongoing cross-training are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CA DPH) certification.
• CA DPH fluoroscopy permit required.
• ARRT Radiography certification.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Advanced ARRT certification in vascular/cardiac radiography preferred.
• 2 years radiologic technologist and EP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or circulate for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare, maintain and operate interventional electrophysiology equipment including ICE, IVUS.
• Assist in training technologist cross-training in the Cath Lab.
• Ensure patient safety, document procedures and maintain imaging records.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique during procedures.
• Participate in after-hours standby and call back as required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
