Job summary

SCA Health in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking an experienced EP Lab Tech to provide patient care for outpatient cardiac procedures in a multi-specialty surgery center.

Under general supervision, the Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will scrub and assist with cardiac, vascular and IR procedures, monitor hemodynamics, maintain sterile technique, and ensure all supplies, equipment and medications are ready before cases. Radiation safety is maintained throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from AMA-approved radiologic technology program or RCIS training.
• ARRT or RCIS certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required.
• 3–5 years cardiac cath lab experience.
• Proficient in fluoroscopy, sterile technique, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physician in cardiac, vascular and IR procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamics and recognize arrhythmias.
• Ensure supplies, equipment and medications are prepared before procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and aseptic technique during all cases.
• Communicate with team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflows.
