Pulse Heart Institute, part of MultiCare, is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to support cardiac cath and electrophysiology labs. You will provide direct patient care and ensure a safe environment while assisting nurses and physicians.

Responsibilities include documentation, equipment handling, and assisting in contrast administration, on a day shift with call. Certification requirements include RCIS/RCES and BLS/ACLS, with the Washington radiologic technologist credential or equivalent

Qualifications

• Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist.
• RCES registry or commitment to obtain within six months.
• RCIS/RT(R) certifications.
• Current BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the procedure room.
• Assist the Registered Nurses in providing patient care as needed.
• Perform Cath and EP Lab documentation reflecting patient needs and actions taken.
• Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.
• Assist physicians in administering contrast media.
