Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute is seeking an Electrophysiology Technician to support the cardiac cath and electrophysiology labs. The role emphasizes direct patient care, equipment setup, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate holds RCIS/RCES or WA radiologic technologist licensure, BLS/ACLS, and is prepared to obtain RCES within six months. This FTE role offers day shifts with on-call for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care in cath/EP lab.
• Assistance to RN and physicians; documentation.
• Operate and maintain cath/EP lab equipment.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• You will perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• You will maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room.
• You will assist the Registered Nurses in providing patient care as needed.
• You will perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation assuring that it is reflective of patient needs, and actions taken.
• You will assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment.
• You will assist physicians in administering contrast media.
