Job summary

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant BA-PA degree and NYS license.
• NCCPA board certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Advanced life support (ACLS/PALS) or neonatal resuscitation (NRP) may be required based on privileges.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, philosophy, standards and goals of the institution and clinical service.
• Educates patient and family to facilitate adjustment to health changes.
• Evaluates treatment plans and modifies per clinical standards and protocols.
• Performs delegated clinical duties and prescribes as per practice protocol.
• Works with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Coordinates research activities, patient screening, enrollment and data collection.
