Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Currently Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association
• DEA Certificate required
• At least 1 year of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Practices within the scope of delineated privileges
• Provide direct care to individuals and families consistent with NYU Langone Health-Brooklyn's goals
• Obtain detailed histories and perform physical examinations
• Documentation of all patient encounters including assessment, treatment, and follow-up
• Maintain unit records, reports, and statistics for administrative purposes and reimbursement
• Evaluation and management of critical care patients
• May be on call during non-working hours to assist attendings
