Job summary

Summa Health's Heart and Vascular Institute in Akron, OH, invites a Board-certified or eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a collaborative EP program with a strong referral network and advanced procedural capabilities. The incoming physician will join an experienced team delivering innovative, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

The role includes high-volume ablations, device therapies, lead extractions, and LAA occlusion, with approximately 3.5 EP lab days and 1.5 clinic days per

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Cardiology and Electrophysiology
• Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
• Experience with lead extractions preferred

Responsibilities

• Approximately 3.5 days in the Electrophysiology lab and 1.5 days outpatient clinic per week
• Inpatient EP consult service approximately 1 week every 5 weeks
• Shared weekend and holiday call with physician support
• Cardiology fellows assist with consults and inpatient coverage
