Job description

Job Summary: Cardiac Electrophysiologist to support a growing academic heart and vascular institute. The specialist will provide both medical and interventional care for abnormal heart rhythms. Skills include device implantation, cardiac ablations, crossing the ventricular septum, and other advanced procedures. A new state-of-the-art Heart and Vascular Center has been inaugurated, expanding cardiovascular services to additional hospitals. Successful candidates will have a primary interest in EP, with clinical and research interests in niche areas such as atrial fibrillation, and a strong desire to teach students, residents, and fellows.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or MBB
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
• New York State Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Preferred Qualifications:

Work Days: M-F Rotating on call

Salary Range/Pay Rate: DOQ
