Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiogram (EKG) tests using EKG machines.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and attaching electrodes.
• Ensure proper functioning and calibration of EKG equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Record and document EKG results and any abnormalities.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nurses to relay findings.
• Monitor patients for distress and respond appropriately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Schedule and coordinate EKG appointments to ensure workflow.
