Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiogram (EKG) tests using EKG machines and related equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and attaching electrodes.
• Ensure proper functioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and cleaning of EKG equipment.
• Record and document EKG results accurately with patient and test details.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nurses to relay findings.
• Monitor patients during procedures for signs of distress and respond appropriately.
