Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington, PA is seeking an EKG Technician who will record inpatient and outpatient EKGs, apply Holter monitors, and help file cardiology testing results. Training to download ECG data and correct patient information may be required.

You will interact with staff and patients, ensure proper lead placement, and perform tasks with safety protocols. Strong communication and basic life support certification are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate with patients and healthcare staff.
• Technical skill to ensure EKG tracing is clear and leads are properly placed.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Operate EKG machines to record heart activity for physicians.
• Attach and monitor Holter devices as required.
• Explain procedures and gather patient data before tests.
• Assist CPR and other duties as assigned.
