Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant/clinical partner to support cardiology data acquisition, EKG application, and monitoring. You will assist with stress echo and nuclear stress testing under nurse supervision, and ensure accurate billing for completed procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ years in a cardiology setting, BLS certification, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in a cardiology setting as MA/CTA/PCA preferred.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to monitor vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in data acquisition by performing EKGs and monitoring using holter/event monitors.
• Assist with stress echo and nuclear stress testing under nurse supervision.
• Properly bill for completed procedures.
