Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Riverside is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations, acquire high-quality images, and prepare studies for interpretation by the cardiologist. The role includes assisting in interventional and advanced echo procedures, such as transesophageal echocardiograms and stress studies, and reviewing patient history to guide imaging.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of cardiac ultrasound experience in the last three years.
• Completion of an accredited two-year ARDMS/ARDCS Cardiovascular sonographer program.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography Certification and Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Performs echocardiogram procedures including 2D, Doppler, 3D imaging and stress testing.
• Assists in interventional echocardiography procedures and TEE when applicable.
• Reviews referrals and patient history; documents findings for physician interpretation.
• Maintains and calibrates ultrasound equipment; orders supplies and supports workflow.
• Participates in on-call and weekend rotation as required.
